If you're looking for a gift that's sure to please, a Christmas food Hamper is the perfect choice. Packed with local produce and delicacies. Christmas Hampers are a popular gift choice for a reason - they're versatile, thoughtful, and can be tailored to the recipient's individual tastes. Whether you're buying for a foodie, or someone who simply enjoys the finer things in life, there's a Christmas Hamper out there that's perfect for them. With so many different Hampers to choose from, it can be difficult to know where to start.
Here at the Cornish Farm Shop we can give you 5 tips for buying your perfect Hamper...
1. Consider the recipient's interests. What do they like to eat, where do they like to visit? Once you have a good understanding, you can start to narrow down your Christmas Hamper choices.
2. Set a budget. Christmas Hampers can range in price from a few pounds to hundreds of pounds. It's important to set a budget before you start shopping so that you don't overspend. We like to offer hampers to suite a range of budgets and tastes.
3. Consider the presentation. Christmas Hampers should be beautifully presented. The packaging should be sturdy and festive, and the contents should be arranged in a visually appealing way. But what's more important is making sure all the time you've spent researching a stylish Hamper translates into a Hamper that has wow factor when received. There's nothing worse than receiving broken items or items that have bounced around and look visual messy when opened. Here at the Cornish Farm Shop we pack our Hampers tightly in a box, preventing our products from moving around, or getting crushed during transit. When your Hamper is delivered it is safe, and most importantly, neatly in place, leaving the very best impression on whoever is opening the Christmas gift. Also consider whether sustainable packaging is important to you or the recipient. There's nothing worse than excessive packaging, especially at Christmas when there's less refuge collections and much more wrapping to dispose of. We like to use recyclable Hamper trays, with bio-degradable shredded paper to cushion our delicious products.
4. Buy early. Christmas Hampers are in high demand during the festive season, so it's best to buy early to avoid disappointment. We stock only a handful of each of our Hampers, due to the space they take up in the store room. This will be the case for most suppliers.
5. Consider buying from a local business. This is a great way to support your local community and get a unique and personalised gift. You'll also support independent producers, growers and farmers, reducing air miles and your carbon footprint. They'll also be put together with love, passion and care.
